Curaçao - Willemstad in Pink

Curaçao - Willemstad in Pink

In my pink top and comfortable Miu Miu slip ons I was ready to explore Willemstad (capital of Curaçao) for the first time! I was really looking forward to strolling around and shooting an outfit post in the city with the most adorable colored houses. Like I said before you could rock a total black outfit in Willemstad everyday and it will never be boring due to the background.

The historic centre of the city consists out of 4 quarters and we strolled and drove around in Punda and Otrobanda which are separated by the Sint Anna Bay. To go from Punda to Otrobanda you have to cross the Queen Juliana bridge where you get the most breathtaking view on Willemstad. I actually wanted to stop and enjoy the view for a while but it wouldn't be safe with all the cars so of course I didn't. This is also where I took this photo the...

Twist Halter Top Bikini

Twist Halter Top Bikini

On our third day we visited a few spots on the island. We wanted to find a few real treasures and someone told us about the black sand beach which was supposed to be amazing. I was really looking forward to it but we first needed to hike a little bit through the forest which was actually a lot of fun and adventures feeling. Curacao day 2: Golden Hour

Curacao day 2: Golden Hour

As most of you already read in my latest post our second day in paradise started a little hectic. We forgot to bring our drivers license with us and so we couldn't rent a car. You can imagine it's a little difficult to explore the island without a car, so I was a little pissed (on myself of course). Luckily after hours of talking (especially Maurits, he's good at it) we managed to rent a car with a copy of our drivers license.

We decided to visit a few touristic places for the day like 'Westpunt' and 'Grote (kleine) Knip'. The beaches there are like true paradise with extremely clear water and white sand. I could stare at it for ages and not be bored. We also drove along the coast. It's a pity though that the main roads are not build along the coast line, but we still enjoyed it a lot! Also we're making a little video for you guys so you can see what Curacao is like. Can't wait to share it with you.

We ended the day at our resort with...
