Basic Low V Necessity

Basic Low V Necessity

Before I'm taking you with me in my journey to New York here's my last outfit from a night out in Curacao. The Pink geometric jacket is one I love in this look and what stands out. But in my opinion the reason for making this outfit so polished and sophisticated looking is this low V neck top. I believe that we all should own such a low V neck top since it's incredibly versatile as you get to wear it in so many different ways. I matched it to black shorts and this geometric jacket for the night. But imagine rocking this top in a complete black and white look. Or what about about a complete white look with a red lip. I might do that sometime soon actually. I could ramble on about the many ways to wear this top but I guess you will have ideas yourself as well.

Next to the necessity of having a low V neck in your wardrobe I think that especially...

Not a Simple Black and White Look

Not a Simple Black and White Look

We've just arrived home and luckily the sun is shining here as well which makes coming home a little easier. I still have a few blog posts to share with you guys and I can't wait. We're finishing off our Curacao series with a fun little video of this beautiful island so make sure to stay tuned! :)

Here's the second look we shot in Willemstad. The mustard yellow wall we walked by made a perfect match to the black and white outfit. It really gives a simple black and white look a complete other dimension.

For the night I wanted to wear something elegant and timeless. What better way to do this than with silk black shorts...

Flirty Bikini and Underwater Fun

Flirty Bikini and Underwater Fun

One of the best days spent in Curacao probably has to be day 5. We were invited by Animal Encounters which is just around the corner of the resort we're staying at. We went into a ginormous sea aquarium where we got the chance to swim with different kinds of fishes of which the Stingray was one of them. Surprisingly they seemed to be very sweet and they love to cuddle. After a few minutes when I really started to feel comfortable around them one of the stingrays decided to bite Maurits and I think he dealt with some pain (although he pretended not to). Of course after this little accident I was somewhat afraid for them so it was time to move to the next part of the session! Ps. The stingrays weren't able to sting us with their tails. So afterwards we moved to the sharks area where we fed two types of sharks: The Lemon and Nurse sharks. Fun fact: the nurse shark sucks in their prey, so when we fed them we actually had to be careful that they weren't going to suck in our hands. You can see all photos below including our 'do the robot' photo, which wasn't really planned (last photo, LOL). :)

For the outfit of the day I was wearing an extremely cute yet flirty bikini...
