Hi everybody! As most of you guys know we've arrived in Sardinia with the team and we're having a great time creating a nice balance of work and pleasure. What's is especially great about this trip is that, as you guys know, normally we travel for a combination of meetings and projects, but this time we planned to do a lot of fun activities outside of work as well. It's definitely a nice change of pace compared to all the other trips we do. Make sure to follow along on Snapchat and Instagram (negin_mirsalehi) to see what we're up to.
Next to the this look that I will talk about next I first wanted to give you guys a quick update on what has been going on lately. As you guys know I love to involve you in all the things we do. So before packing my bags for this adventure, we've been quite busy working on our first product line (Yes the one I've been talking about for a long time and I'm getting so nervous you guys), and I'm also working on becoming a beekeeper! As you guys probably know, my dad is the best beekeeper around, and I'm not only saying that because he's the best father A But you should see him when he's around the bee garden working with so much passion, while at the same time other beekeepers are asking him for his help and advice. Since I basically grew up in the beegarden, I've always wanted to become a beekeeper and I've finally found some time to do so. Honestly, the best part is that I get to spend more quality time with my dad. Next to all of these activities, we're of course staying busy with plenty of amazing projects that are we've got coming up. One in particular, as we're soon leaving for Sicily with one of my favorite brands ever and I can't wait to share more with you guys about this soon.
But before I soak up the sun on the warm beaches of Sardinia, I really want to share a look that's more suited for big city streets. I feel like bomber jackets are definitely having a moment right now and I’m not complaining about it! I think that it's a strong and fun piece of outerwear for chilly summer days and nights, and I can always rely on it to add some playful edge to my outfit. What I love about this particular jacket is the strength and effortless cool that kind of radiates off of it. I like how the oversized silhouette gives it a laid-back and sporty vibe, but the khaki colored satin, high-shine material makes it a little glamorous. I prefer to wear a jacket like this more as a statement piece that enhances the rest of my outfit, so I’ll lean towards more subtle colors and textures to keep the look more grounded. On top of a basic gray sweater, I like that the khaki instantly jazzes up my ensemble and still maintains its classic comfort. To add a little more dimension to the look, I paired the jacket with these intricately detailed ivory denim leggings. The embroidery and cut outs along the legs give such a unique touch to that look that are subtle and elegant. This makes them a great choice for all occasions, from a day at the office to a night out with friends. For a final special touch, it’s all about the details. From light layered necklaces to timeless leather pieces, I always have a lot of fun dressing up a casual look like this. I hope you do too! A
