I’ve always loved beauty and it’s been such an enjoyable experience for me to move away from my fashion adventures for a minute and share more beauty related things with you guys. Especially because it’s so easy to share something fashion related quickly on Instagram, whereas I like having a bit of time and more space to explain my favourite beauty products a little more deeply. And on that note, I’m so excited to share a new beauty brand I’ve recently discovered, Clé de Peau Beauté. It’s something I’ve really been adoring lately, mainly because the quality of their products is so amazing—every single one of the them! You can tell right away that their products hold up to a very high standard and that they are so deserving of all of the awards they’ve received. My only regret is not finding them sooner!
One of their products has become my instant beauty fix and something I can’t imagine not carrying with me everywhere— their concealer. It does a lot for my skin, especially when I’m dealing with uneven pigmentation and dehydration. It’s always nice to find a concealer that maintains my skins natural moisture barrier without looking cakey and keeps my skin looking radiant. This is a result of a new Japanese powder technology they’ve been using in their products, which is an innovation that camouflages imperfections while brightening the skin at the same time. It makes my skin feel and appear flawless. Amazing how all of that fits into a single stick of concealer! I’ve used a lot of fluid concealers in the past but what I really like about this one is that I get this lovely smooth creamy application in a stick that provides full proof coverage and is long-lasting. This is so important for me because I don’t want to be touching up every hour of the day—who has time for that H So not only do I not have to constantly be reapplying my makeup, but I’m also able to use this concealer in multiple ways. I sometimes use it under my foundation to cover up spots and dark circles under my eyes, plus I tend to like using it around my mouth to soften the uneven pigmentation, and it even works wonders for hiding unwanted freckles. I can even use it on top of my foundation and still end up with a beautiful even tone complexion.
