Graceful Gray
SoHo is one of my favorite neighbourhoods in New York City, which is why we always stay there when we visit. The energy in this particular area is contagious and I can’t help but feel inspired. In the 1960s, SoHo came to represent the hip and creative avante garde scene of New York, with young aspiring artists taking up space in the low rent buildings that had previously been abandoned. Along with the outstanding art scene, low and high-end shopping boutiques, and inventive restaurants, it also boasts the worlds largest collection of cast-iron architecture, which I always enjoy looking at. Rain or shine, SoHo is worth the visit, especially during Fashion Week because a lot of the shows we attended were actually in the neighbourhood, which was super convenient.
