Hi everyone! I'm writing this from my hotel room in Milan while watching the sunrise. You would probably think that these kind of sunset/ sunrise pictures would bore me or you (since I love sharing them), but somehow the magical nature keeps on surprising me as it look completely different on every location. As most of you guys know last week we visited Istanbul and it really felt like coming home to me, as we had such a warm welcome. When I was little my family and I often went on holiday to Turkey, so I can understand the Turkish language a bit and I have lots of childhood memories of this country. After those family vacations I haven’t visited Turkey for a long time, until we went to Istanbul in April this year. During that trip we tried to get the most of our days and wanted to explore every single must-see in this enormous city, but of course there are so many gems we hadn’t got the chance to visit. That’s why I couldn’t wait to get reunited with the city that surprises me in so many ways, and enjoying Istanbul’s beauty all over again.

Ps. I’ve selected 5 must-sees for those of you who are interested in Istanbul’s most visited spots by tourists. Find out more in the background section of this article.

This time we got to spend the nights at the most beautiful hotel in Istanbul: the Four Seasons at the Bosphorus. Thanks to the greatest view on the river that divides Europe and Asia we were able to wake up all relaxed and peaceful each morning when we opened up the curtains. Concerning my outfit the first day I decided to snuggle up in my big, knitted cardigan. This ivory colored one has an open front, lots of fringe details, and most of all it’s super comfy. I combined it with a pair of mommy jeans and a black top, which I love because of its deep cut around the shoulders. It really stands out against all the other black tops.

After a packed day with two interviews, two shoots, and a fitting we attended the GQ Men Of The Year Awards. There were twelve well-deserved award winners – of which one of them plays in my current favorite TV-show Game of Thrones. As some of you know, ‘winter is coming’ is my favorite Thrones-quote A

I was wearing
