We're talking jewelry today, a topic I can't get enough of. Thanks to LoveGold's New York Shopping Guide we had an amazing opportunity to visit a jewelry store called Broken English in Soho while we were in New York for Fashion Week.
As you guys know I always love experimenting when it comes to fashion and jewelry. Sometimes I love wearing a simple sleek look that is dressed up by some amazing statement jewelry and other times. I love how little details can make an outfit look amazing. I've had a love for dainty jewelry for the longest time. Luckily this never gets old, especially when you love to experiment with layering.
I felt like all those dainty gold pieces were waiting for me to get picked up so I could start layering
When arriving at the Broken English store I had a look around and felt like all those dainty gold pieces were waiting for me to get picked up so I could start layering. For example, I loved matching two earrings from two different designers: Sarah Perlis and Smith and Mara. It looks youthful and edgy yet so chic and sophisticated at the same time. The gold rings and finger bracelets were so delicate that I loved combining them as well.
For the rest of my look I wanted to keep it chic and simple with layering an oversized Phillip Lim shirt tucked into my Helmut Lang skirt. The khaki green colour of the shirt complements the gold jewelry perfectly. It's been one of my favourite colour combinations for years. I was also sporting this breathtaking Fiamma bag from Salvatore Ferragamo. A structured bag with gold details such as the handles.
A big thank you to LoveGold for bringing their New York Shopping Guide to our attention. Make sure to check out the other jewelry hot spots included in the guide here.
