I’m fortunate to have a job that takes me all over the world, but sometimes packing for each adventure can be a struggle, especially when it comes to picking shoes for all of my outfits. I don’t want to waste space on something I’ll never wear! This is why I’m so excited to announce my collaboration with Michael Kors and Selfridges for the new Jet Set 6 collection. Having something for every occasion is the real beauty of this collection. It is great to have the stress taken off my feet! What I love is that the overall look of a single outfit can be altered dramatically with a simple change of footwear. In this case, the shoes really do make the outfit!
During our time in SoHo, I opted to wear the incredible Gretchen ankle boots. Since we always have a lot of meetings in the area, I like that these boots don’t just look incredibly chic, but they are also comfortable enough to run around in, especially when I’m trying to catch a cab if I’m late! They’re also perfect for a day of walking around and SoHo is one of my favorite neighbourhoods in New York to explore because of the high energy and creative spirit that thrives there. From the wonderful restaurants and boutique stores to the art galleries and abundance of artists, it’s hard to not feel inspired here.
After a busy day of running around the city, I switched to these Woods ankle boots without second thought, they have a great mix of elegance and edge. I love their versatility because I can wear them to meetings, but also for a night out in the city.
Finally, I slipped into these laid-back snake leather Kyle Slip-on shoes; the ultimate choice for a casual weekend. They’re super easy to wear, extremely comfortable, and fit so many looks! Whether I’m going to brunch or spending the day as a tourist, these shoes can stand-up to the occasion.
