Istanbul At The Four Seasons

Istanbul – the city where the beauty of the far East and modern West come together. I couldn’t wait to visit this dynamic city again, as Istanbul has captured my heart when I was six years old, and I fell in love with the Turkish capital all over again earlier this year.

In the heart of former Constantinople the Four Seasons Hotel is established, right at the Bosphorus – the river that runs through the center of the Turkish capital. A 19th century Ottoman palace has transformed into Istanbul’s treasure when it comes to hotels. Especially, the exterior was breathtaking with its fairytale gardens, vibrant swimming pool, and the most beautiful view at the aqua terrace. Every spot in and around the Four Seasons seemed so different from each other that you’d almost think you’re somewhere else, and every single corner could function as the perfect setting for a shoot.

And that’s exactly what we did, because I really wanted to share the look that’s all about the shoes and the coat – which go hand in hand together. This long brown coat in a soft fabric has a sophisticated feel thanks to its wide lapels and golden features. I especially love the length and oversized fit, while the belt accentuates the waist for a feminine touch. Paired with my burgundy Marni shoes with golden plagues it’s perfectly suitable for the office, don’t you think? A
