Since we are leaving for LA tomorrow, I was so excited to spent the weekend celebrating the holidays and a few birthdays with my loved ones. I really value the time we share together, especially before a big trip because it mentally prepares me and helps me to relax a little. When we were in Sevilla, we didn’t exactly have time to relax. Our trip to Spain last week was definitely too short (only 24 hours!), but it was totally worth the visit. As our time was so limited we had to make the most of it and I think we did just that! After shooting a special project (the one I’ve been leaving hints about on Instagram), we had some time to spare in the morning before heading off to the airport. What better way to spend my last hours in Sevilla than discovering the beauty of the city?
I felt this look was just right for the colorful, warm, and relaxed vibe I felt while wondering the streets. The weather also gave me the perfect chance to break in my new Céline sandals. I wasn’t always a fan of wedge sandals, but these ones definitely stole my heart when I saw them. How beautiful are they? They kind of embody that vintage feel with a 70s twist, especially with the addition of the fringe purse. These wedges are ideal if you plan on exploring and walking around all day. Not only do the straps and color make them look incredibly chic, but they are also so comfortable. I had a tough time taking them off! I also love that they are versatile in that I can dress them up or down, combining them with anything from a flowing summer dress to a good pair of jeans and a nice blazer. What’s great about this jacket, other than the soothing shade of gray, is that the loose, but still tailored fit of it instantly makes this casual street look a little more sophisticated. It also works to take this look from a day of exploring to a dinner out with friends. I can’t think of anything better!
