Good morning from Milan! Last night we arrived at our hotel and now I'm ready for our packed schedule: four days full of amazing meetings. It's going to be hectic but it sure will be a lot of fun. Milan became one of our favorite cities to work at. There are just so many great brands I feel passionate about and the people are so warm and friendly. Anyway, before I continue to share my love for this city/country, I wanted to talk to you about another mind-blowing experience from last week. Yes we're talking about Chengdu, China.
Those who follow me on my social pages know that we had the opportunity to visit Chengdu with Tod’s. A brand that manages to surprise me over and over and one that I can completely identify with. It has been an amazing experience, which I’ll tell you more about in tomorrow’s post. First I couldn't wait to share this total Tod's look which I sported for an interview on our last day in Chengdu.
You guys know my style well by now, and probably noticed that my outfits are either super chic and feminine, or a little sporty with an edge. This look was definitely on team ‘elegant’, thanks to the fabrics and colours that were used. What I loved about it is the length of both the dress and coat and the flowy effect it gave when I walked down the street. It really made it an effortless chic look, of which I'm a great fan of.
I fell in love with the lilac trench, which paired beautifully with the dark purple dress underneath. These are two colors that aren’t a very obvious combination, but I think they go very well together. And the shoes… Don’t get me started about the shoes! Or actually, let’s do talk about them, as they are made for walking. When I tried them on for the very first time, I immediately felt that these shoes were handcrafted with passion. They represent the Tod’s values perfectly: modern, luxurious, youthful and high quality.
